Indianapolis Coding Bootcamps
Considering a career in tech, but not sure where to start, or want to learn new skills?
Join me for a free coding workshop!
Technology can be very intimidating.  Many jobs in tech require a deep understanding of complex technical concepts and the ability to write code.   For people without a technical background, this can seem like a daunting task.  The tech industry is constantly evolving, and new technologies and programming languages are introduced frequently. This means that tech professionals need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools, which can be intimidating.  Despite these challenges, jobs in tech can also be very rewarding. The industry is known for its high salaries, opportunities for career growth, and the ability to work on cutting-edge technologies that can have a significant impact on the world.
The goal of the workshop is to help people learn if a career in coding would be right for them.  This free workshop is better because instead of just presenting information about coding, education options, and the industry, attendees get hands-on coding experience!  The workshop is for beginners, who have never coded, to see what it’s like to be in a coding bootcamp.   The feeling that attendees walk away with is confidence in knowing if coding is something they want to pursue.
About Coding Bootcamps
A coding bootcamp is an intensive, immersive training program that teaches students the skills they need to become proficient in computer programming and software development.  Bootcamps typically offer a compressed curriculum that covers a broad range of topics in a relatively short period of time, ranging from a few weeks to several months.  Bootcamps often focus on specific technologies or programming languages and are designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the tech industry.  Bootcamps are often faster and less expensive than traditional computer science degrees and are a popular choice for individuals who want to switch careers or quickly gain new technical skills.
Many coding bootcamps offer in-person classes, some offer on-line classes, and some offer a variation of both.   NuCamp Coding Bootcamps offer and "upside-down" approach to coding bootcamps.  This provides students with the opportunity to learn at their pace and at a location best for them via on-line learning, and and "in-person" zoom class one day each week with an instructor and a perfectly sized class!
